What Is Peacock Premium?
To understand what does Peacock Premium include, start with the plan itself. Peacock Premium is a paid streaming tier that gives you much more than basic TV programming. It is designed for people who want movies, television, sports, and exclusive Peacock content in one place.
The plan includes thousands of hours of entertainment. You can watch current NBC and Bravo favorites, Peacock Originals, movies, sports, news, and special programming. Peacock also offers always-on channels that let you watch content in a traditional TV-style format.
Premium is different from Peacock’s Select plan. Select focuses on TV content and excludes sports, movies, and Peacock Originals. Premium is the broader option for viewers who want the full entertainment mix.
Does Peacock Premium Include Movies?
Yes, movies are one of the major benefits of Peacock Premium. The plan gives subscribers access to a large movie selection, including films from major studios. Peacock highlights movies from Universal, DreamWorks Animation, and Focus Features.
This makes Premium useful for people who enjoy both television and movies. You can move from a TV series to a movie without changing services. The library can also change as streaming rights change. Therefore, a movie available today may not remain available forever.
Peacock also promotes new movies and popular films through its streaming service. Some titles may arrive after their theatrical runs. Others may appear for a limited period. If movies are important to you, check the current Peacock movie library before choosing a plan.
Does Peacock Premium Include TV Shows?
TV shows are a major part of what does Peacock Premium include. Subscribers can watch current favorites from NBC and Bravo. The service also carries Peacock Originals and many other television programs.
Peacock provides both traditional series and newer streaming content. You can find comedy, drama, reality TV, news, crime programs, and family entertainment. The exact library changes over time, so the available shows can vary.
One helpful feature is Peacock’s collection of channels. These channels continuously play selected shows, movies, clips, news, or sports content. This can feel more like traditional television because you can start watching without choosing a specific episode first.
Does Peacock Premium Include Live Sports?
Yes. Live sports are an important reason many people choose Peacock Premium. The service currently promotes live sports and events as part of its Premium plan.
Depending on current rights, Peacock can offer major sporting events, live games, sports shows, documentaries, and related programming. Its sports lineup includes events such as Premier League matches and Sunday Night Football.
For sports fans, what does Peacock Premium include can be answered with one major benefit: live sports access. However, sports rights can change. Not every event is available all year. Always check Peacock’s current sports schedule before subscribing for one specific competition or game.
Does Peacock Premium Include NBC and Bravo?
Yes. Peacock Premium includes TV favorites from NBC, Bravo, and other Peacock programming. This can make the service useful for viewers who already enjoy shows from these networks.
You can stream eligible programs through the Peacock app instead of relying only on a traditional television package. Peacock also offers NBC-related programming and live local NBC channels in supported areas and plans. Availability can depend on location and streaming rights.
If you mainly want NBC or Bravo content, Premium may offer strong value. Still, the exact availability of individual shows can change. Some programs may have different release schedules or limited streaming windows.
Are Peacock Originals Included With Premium?
Yes. Peacock Originals are included with Premium. These exclusive shows and movies are made available through the Peacock service and help separate the platform from traditional network streaming.
Peacock Originals cover several genres. You may find comedy, drama, reality programs, documentaries, and other original productions. New titles can be added as Peacock expands its catalog.
This is another key part of what does Peacock Premium include. You are not simply paying for older television programs. The plan also gives you access to Peacock’s own exclusive entertainment. If you enjoy streaming-only shows, this feature can add extra value to your subscription.
Does Peacock Premium Have Ads?
Yes. Peacock Premium includes advertisements. This is one of the biggest differences between Premium and Premium Plus.
Peacock describes Premium as a plan for watching TV, movies, sports, and more with ads. Premium Plus costs more and is designed to provide an ad-free experience with limited exceptions.
It is important to understand that paying for Premium does not mean every program will play without advertising. If you prefer fewer interruptions, Premium Plus may be worth considering. However, even Premium Plus can contain ads in certain channels, live sports, events, and selected programs because of streaming rights.
Does Peacock Premium Include Downloads?
No. Offline downloads are a Premium Plus benefit, not a standard Premium feature. This difference matters if you often travel or watch content without an internet connection.
Peacock says downloads are available for selected content on supported mobile and tablet devices for Premium Plus subscribers. Premium Plus accounts can have up to 25 downloaded pieces of content across devices at one time.
Downloaded content also has limits. Watched downloads are automatically removed after 48 hours. Unwatched downloads can expire after 30 days or when the title leaves Peacock.
So, when comparing what does Peacock Premium include with Premium Plus, offline viewing is one clear difference. Premium works best for online streaming.
How Many Devices Can Use Peacock Premium?
Peacock allows subscribers to stream on up to three devices at the same time. The service also supports up to six profiles. Profiles can help family members keep their viewing activity and recommendations separate.
This setup can work well for households with different viewing habits. One person can watch a sports event while another watches a movie. A third person can stream a TV series on another supported device.
Peacock supports many types of devices. These include computers, phones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming devices, and gaming consoles. Exact device support can vary by model.
For families, multiple profiles can make the service easier to organize. Parents can also use available kid-safety settings when creating profiles.
What Is the Difference Between Peacock Premium and Premium Plus?
Understanding the difference helps answer what does Peacock Premium include in practical terms. Premium costs less and includes ads. Premium Plus costs more and removes ads from much of the regular on-demand content.
Peacock currently lists Premium at $12.99 monthly or $129.99 annually. Premium Plus is listed at $19.99 monthly or $199.99 annually. Both plans include TV, movies, sports, and Peacock Originals. Premium Plus adds downloads and a mostly ad-free viewing experience.
| Feature | Premium | Premium Plus |
| TV shows | Yes | Yes |
| Movies | Yes | Yes |
| Live sports | Yes | Yes |
| Peacock Originals | Yes | Yes |
| NBC and Bravo favorites | Yes | Yes |
| Ads | Yes | Limited exceptions |
| Downloads | No | Yes, for eligible content |
| Monthly price | $12.99 | $19.99 |
| Annual price | $129.99 | $199.99 |
How Much Does Peacock Premium Cost?
The current Peacock website lists Premium at $12.99 per month. The annual option costs $129.99. Peacock says the annual plan gives you 12 months for the price of 10 compared with the monthly rate.
That means the annual plan can make sense for someone who expects to use Peacock throughout the year. Monthly billing can be more flexible if you only want the service for a short period.
Prices can change because streaming services regularly update their plans. Special promotions may also appear. Students who meet eligibility requirements may have access to a lower-priced offer. Peacock currently advertises eligible students at $6.99 per month.
Before subscribing, compare the current price with your viewing needs.
Is Peacock Premium Worth It?
Whether Premium is worth it depends on what you watch. If you enjoy movies, NBC shows, Bravo programs, Peacock Originals, and live sports, the plan can provide strong value.
Sports fans may find the plan especially useful because Peacock includes live sports and events. Movie fans can also benefit from the large movie selection. TV viewers get access to current NBC and Bravo favorites and other programming.
The biggest drawback is advertising. If commercials bother you, Premium Plus may be a better fit. Downloads are another reason to upgrade.
My practical advice is simple: make a list of the shows, movies, and sports you actually watch. Then compare that list with the current Peacock catalog. If several of your favorites are included, Premium may be worth the monthly cost.
What Devices Support Peacock Premium?
Peacock works across many popular devices. Supported options include Windows and Mac computers, Roku, iOS and Android devices, certain smart TVs, streaming platforms, and gaming consoles.
Peacock’s official website lists support for devices such as Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, Vizio smart TVs, PlayStation, and Xbox. Some device support depends on the specific model.
This wide device support makes what does Peacock Premium include more than a content question. The viewing experience also depends on where you watch. A smart TV may be ideal for family movie nights. A phone or tablet can be more convenient while traveling.
Before buying a device specifically for Peacock, check the latest supported-device list. Older models may not support every current app feature.
Does Peacock Premium Have 24/7 Channels?
Yes. Peacock offers channels that continuously stream selected programming. These channels can include news, sports, shows, movies, and themed entertainment.
Examples listed by Peacock include NBC Sports, SNL Vault, Fallon Tonight, TODAY All Day, and True Crime.
This feature is useful when you do not want to spend time searching through a large library. You can simply open a channel and start watching. It also gives Peacock a traditional television feel while keeping the convenience of streaming.
For viewers who like background entertainment, these channels can be a useful part of what does Peacock Premium include. The available channel lineup may change, so the current Peacock channel guide is the best place to check what’s playing.
Can You Watch Peacock Premium Outside Your Home?
You can use Peacock on supported devices, including compatible mobile phones and tablets. This makes it possible to enjoy your subscription in different places where the service is available.
However, streaming availability can depend on location, licensing, device support, and internet access. Sports and other live programs can also have location-based restrictions.
If you need offline viewing, remember that downloads are tied to Premium Plus. Peacock’s official help information says eligible Premium Plus content can be downloaded on supported mobile and tablet devices.
For most users, the best approach is to check the specific title before traveling. This avoids surprises when a program is unavailable in another location or cannot be downloaded.
Peacock Premium: Who Should Choose It?
Peacock Premium can be a good choice for several types of viewers. It is especially useful for people who want a mix of television, movies, sports, and original content.
Sports viewers can benefit from live events. Movie fans can explore Peacock’s film library. NBC and Bravo fans can watch many familiar programs. Families can use multiple profiles to keep viewing preferences separate.
The main trade-off is advertising. You also cannot rely on Premium for offline downloads. Those features can make Premium Plus a better choice for some people.
In simple terms, what does Peacock Premium include comes down to broad entertainment access at a lower price than Premium Plus. If you can accept advertisements and mostly stream online, Premium may be the more practical option.
